Real-Time Dredging Monitoring with NORBIT NORdredge
NORBIT has released a new video highlighting NORdredge, a real-time monitoring solution designed to improve dredging and marine construction efficiency.
Based on a proven GIS platform, NORdredge provides continuous underwater condition data directly to the operator, while enabling remote access for project managers, surveyors, and hydrographers. Integrated with either the WINGHEAD X sonar or the WBMS X sonar, the system delivers accurate seabed data for precise dredging and construction operations.
The web-based interface features real-time depth and progress displays, with clear colour coding to show how conditions compare to the engineering design. This allows operators to maintain control and accuracy throughout the project.
Lightweight and compact, NORdredge can be quickly mobilised and deployed, reducing operational downtime.
By enabling real-time seabed monitoring and reducing the need for rework or additional surveys, NORdredge helps lower costs and improve overall project efficiency.
