Layered Media Detection (LMD) lets surveyors identify the fluid mud layer and the underlying navigable bottom in a single multibeam survey. The optional capability for WINGHEAD X Midwater delivers continuous, high-resolution bathymetric coverage across the entire survey swath, even in challenging sediment environments.
